How to analyse your competitors sitemap and and spot keywords opportunities?

Medium effort
High impact

Analyzing your competitors’ sitemap structure is crucial for understanding how they organize their content to enhance user experience and SEO performance. By examining their sitemap, you can identify best practices, potential gaps in your site’s structure, and opportunities to improve navigation and content hierarchy.

How to do it?

To do this, use tools like Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or simply inspect the XML sitemap of competitor websites. Look at how they structure categories, subcategories, and key pages, and compare it with your site to identify areas for optimization.
